HAIKU
Diana Webb
|
warm afternoon
spiked with rosemary—
green dragonfly |
|
| |
|
| |
a spider's web
on the wrought iron gate—
autumn wind |
| |
|
winter footpath—
up to my eyes
in sunlight |
|
| |
|
| |
home from school
across the thistledown field—
ice cream van chimes |
|
|
just the sound
of the old watermill—
winter jasmine |
|

Diana Webb has published children's stories in the distant past and believes strongly in the link between recapturing a sense of childlike wonder and writing haiku. She has a special interest in haiku and well-being. Her work has appeared widely in British haiku magazines.
