HAIKU

discarded tire
an earthworm
going nowhere |

|
| |
cedar shadows
her whisper guides me
to the squirrel |

|
nesting season
a small cloud moves
under a large one |
|

|
| |
the stretch
of an eastbound train —
starry night |
|
|
wide-mouth jars
a crow's wings open
to the sky |
