months after the blossoms:
i remember to notice
the cherry tree |

|
| |
in the midnight wind
the sounds of ocean
miles away |
| |
|
daylight saving twilight-
from the hedges
cricket's refrain slowing |
|

gusts of April wind
or how the branches follow? |
|
|
at first glance
a distant porch light --
moon in the leafy trees |
