Lorin Ford writes haiku and longer poems in Brunswick, Victoria
(Australia), where she has lived since 1976. Her first love was the
Seaford beach and foreshore; her second, the timbered valleys and
estuary of a small East Gippsland town. Her haiku have appeared
in journals and anthologies published in Australia and New Zealand
and in journals in Europe, Japan and the USA. Lorin shared equal
first prize in the paper wasp Sixth Annual Jack Stamm Haiku Award
and was again awarded first prize in the Seventh, in 2006.
