HAIKU

Carla Sari

 
a sickle moon
the clown's face in
the town pool		  
   
  after heart surgery
the songs
of a magpie
   
pale moon
the feral cat's
phosphorescent eyes		  
   
  bruised lillies . . .
a dog lifts his leg
on the garden gnome
 
moody spring
the stadium sways
with bright umbrellas
