Haiku ~ Grzegorz Sionkowski

 

frost on the pane---  
in each circle, piercing chill---
children's eyes a raven swallows
  the snow
   
morning fog  
walking the only bank morning twitter---
of the river no pause to recall
  bird names
   
my shadow---  
no gray hair  
or wrinkles  

Grzegorz Sionkowski lives in Torun, Poland with his wife and two sons.

He works as a chemist at Nicolaus Copernicus University.

His poems have been published in Asahi Haikuist Network, Mainichi Daily News and The Heron's Nest.
