|
| tree tops water |
|
| their roots |
church bells |

among gifts-- |
| |
a bride's hand |
| winter orchard-- |
|
| fruitless |
|
| except for bird song |
in the bay |

tugging at its anchor-- |

Andrew
Hide lives in Cornwall, England with his wife and five daughters who along
with the surrounding landscape which is a rugged peninsula
in the south-west, a land where nature still seems to have the upper hand,
are the inspiration for much of his poetry.
He writes:
"In my mind I'm a story writer but in my heart I'm a poet. I like to
experiment with writing, not
just style but subject as well. My hope is that I will be able to inject
the emotion
and feeling to bring the written
word to life as others have done."
His Poetry
Homepage includes many types of poetry including a special section on
Asian forms.
