Richard Stevenson, who lives in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada has had a busy couple of years. Since Hot Flashes: Maiduguri Haiku, Senryu, and Tanka (Ekstasis Editions, 2001), two other collections of haiku, senryu, and tanka have been accepted and are forthcoming: A Tidings of Magpies (from Spotted Cow Press, Edmonton) and A Charm of Finches (from Ekstasis Editions in Victoria ), plus a collection of lyric/narrative and satiric pieces, Parrot with Tourette's (from Black Moss Press in their Palm Poet Series). Grey Borders has also just accepted a chapbook and Black Moss has commissioned a non-fiction book for 2005.

As Richard puts it, "No rest for the wicked."
