Our ambition in this section of Simply Haiku is to provide a regular series of haiku-related thought-pieces, both articles and interviews, for our readers.

We also invite our interviewees or essayists to share other published or unpublished Japanese short form poetry, artwork and articles.

For the most part, we solicit the interviews and essays. However, if you have an essay that you feel warrants publication, we will consider it. Either submit your essay to Robert Wilson or to the Editor in whose section it belongs.
