Haiku by Ian Daw
A hand to his chest - the steady drip of the tap.
Drunken shouts - in darkness the blossom falls.
Every strange face - the Rosehip's winter thorns.
The hymn, half sung - a petal falls from the bouquet.
Indian summer - a boy throws sticks at an oak tree.
Ian J Daw is 27 years old and lives in England. He has been writing Japanese forms for about six months, and so far prefers the haiku.
