Simply Haiku: An E-Journal of Haiku and Related Forms Haiku by Tiong Chunghoo
Tiong Chunghoo has been working as a journalist for 20 years. He lived in Japan between 1988 and 1991, learning Japanese and experiencing life in Tokyo. He also worked at a travel agency using his multi-lingual talents to promote the company. He began writing poetry in the early 80s, but stopped for several years. Writing haiku is something relatively new to him, but now he is addicted to this form of writing. He thinks haiku should be recommended to everybody, especially children, because it makes one a more observant person. His haiku and other poetry have been published in the Famous Reporter (Australia), Heron's Nest (America), Yomiuri Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun and the Asahi Shimbun (Japan), Poetry Sharing Journal, Voicesnet.Com, Free Times (Europe), Tinywords (United States), Sakura (haiku anthology published in Sweden), and Poetry Magazine (United States) among others.
