Cherry Tree
"At the west end of Tokyo, the Tama River flows. A hundred
years ago, a small flow was diverted from the Tama to provide
water for farming. Cherry trees line the banks of this small
river. In the spring, many people come to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
Look--a paper lantern in the picture. In the light of the lantern,
people drink sake, sing songs, and dance all night."-Sakuo
